Dear class,

Well done on your summer test, I hope that you are encouraged that your efforts this year were well spent.

I also hope you are enjoying the sun. Just is case it starts raining and you are missing school I have posted the first of 3 summer assignments.

Assignment 1 (June) is on Constructions and Theorems (click here). If links aren't working or you are unsure of anything leave a comment in this blog.

Best wishes,
Mr R

on activity 17 question 4 it asks for the value of the angle ABE. I am either losing my mind or the point E does not exist. Is point F supposed to be E?

You're not loosing your mind, there is an error in this ProjectMaths.ie resource. Thanks for alerting me to this.

It makes more sense if you let E be the incentre.

Keep up the good work.

On all these activities it says to use in conjunction with the interactive files on the student's CD, how can we do those questions?

I think you should be able to them using the video? The related files on the students CD are on this page: http://www.projectmaths.ie/students/cd-strand1and2/strand2-geoandtrig.asp

Aisling you're on holidays so you have nothing to apologise for. It would be great if you could get assignment 1 done at any stage - but assignment 2 is important as well!

Mr Roche, I know that this is probably explained somewhere, but when they ask you to move a point what are you expected to do? Question 8 on construction 16
