Lesson 7 in Area and Volume Today we continued our consideration of the volume of prisms where V = Ah and of shapes that symmetrically converge to a point like a cone or pyramid where V = 1/3(Ah). We also looked at the idea of finding D the diagonal of a box shape with dimensions L, B and H using a 3-D version of Pythagoras: D squared = L squared + B squared + H squared.
