Note: There are two notations used for the derivative of a function "dy/dx" and "f'(x)" there is no difference in the meaning of these, "dy/dx" tends to be used if the function to be differentiated is expressed in terms of "y=" and "f'(x)" if the function is expressed as "f(x)=" as you will see in the tutorials.
