Leaving Cert. Examination 2024

Higher level Maths

Section A (Concept and Skills)
  • You have a choice of 6 questions. You have to do 5
  • Each question is worth 30 marks and the section will be worth 150 marks in total. 
  • Questions will be of similar length and cover the same type of content as previous years, you will just have to answer one less question. 

Section B (Contexts and Applications)
  • You will have a choice of 4 questions. You must do 3
  • Each question is worth 50 marks. This section in total is worth 150 marks

Note: The ordinary level adjustments are the same as the higher level above.
